Degrowth Tree –  hand made paper from the detritus and plants within the cemetery

An installation of collective reflections of our relationship with nature and growth, exploring  a new vision of a world that works for everyone and everthing. 

Cemetery visitors were given a space to contribute their dreams and ideas for a better future  to the spirit of  THCP’s dead Chestnut tree.

Through gentle instructions, and a series of Degrowth prompts made from handmade paper, visitors were encouraged to spend a little reflection time of imagining ideas and desires for a fairer and kinder life.

Hand made writing paper, coloured pens and pegs were provided to attach  thoughts on the tree.
