As we focus on the minutiae of life – which seem manageable – we run from something bigger, overwhelming. There is a terrible congruence between the way we distract ourselves in lockdown and the way we were already running from our awareness of society’s precarious situation. How to film such a realisation?

Using the visuals from one mini DV tape shot in 2005, mixed with the sound and further footage filmed in lockdown 2020, I start a conversation.
